I am presently working as Assistant Professor in Physical Chemistry at Government College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Khandola, Marcela-Goa. I have completed M.Sc. (Physical Chemistry), from Goa University and Secured 1strank at M.Sc. Physical Chemistry examination held in April 2012. I was Awarded the Xth Indian Council of Chemist Conference Prize at the convocation ceremony, Goa University on 2nd February 2013. Cleared CSIR-UGC-NET (lectureship), with 39th/1106 rank Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, New Delhi held on 17th June 2012. I was awarded Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Chemistry for my Thesis titled “Electrochemical and Adsorption Studies of Glycerol Based Carbons and its composites with Fe-MnOX and OMS-2” from Goa University in December 2020. (Guide – Prof. J. B. Fernandes & Prof. S. G. Tilve). My research interest includes Carbon materials for energy applications, Electro-catalytic oxidation of methanol/ethanol, Capacitance studies: Carbon-Metal oxides composites and Adsorption studies: Dyes & heavy metal ions.
