“Dr Nitika Beri, is a graduate (MBBS) from the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), Delhi University, Batch of 2010, Delhi, India. She received distinction in subject of Microbiology during her MBBS career. She completed her MS Ophthalmology from the distinguished University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS), Delhi University, Batch 2016.
During school she has been the Head Girl, Captain of basketball team, received awards as a kathak dancer and awarded the Best Student for the year 2006 at Amity International School.
She has been bestowed with Best Video Presentation award during her post-graduation, on the topic, “Stepwise surgical demonstration of sutured scleral fixated intraocular lens: Basic steps.” and has presented her work at International conference held at Ireland, “10th Annual Congress on Controversies in Ophthalmology: Europe (COPHy EU)”.
She has done research in the field of glaucoma and done her thesis on a novel topic, “Augmenting Trabeculectomy With Subconjunctival Mitomycin C Injection At The End Of Surgery: Pilot Study”
She has presented her work at International, National and State forums.
She has publications in both indexed and non-indexed journals.
She has been awarded the certificate of completion of “Basic Science Examination in Ophthalmology” and “The Optics & Refraction Examination in Ophthalmology” held by International Council of Ophthalmology.
She is an active member of renowned societies like All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOS), Delhi Ophthalmological Society (DOS), Young Ophthalmologists Society of India (YOSI) and Indian Medical Association (IMA).
She has attended International, National and State workshops in Ophthalmology.
She is a zealous teacher, researcher and enjoys her clinical work.”
