DR SURYANARAYANA VEERAVILLI

“Dr. Suryanarayana Veeravalli is currently Professor of Environmental Sciences (since Jan, 2014) at Aditya Engineering College (Autonomous), Surampalem, East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh, India. He earned his Doctorate degree in Environmental Biology from Awadesh Pratap Singh University, Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, India in 1996. His research concentrated on the fate of nine bacterial species Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella typhimurium, Streptococcus faecalis, Bacillus subtilis, Pseudomonas putida, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Rhizobium meliloti, Rhizobium leguminosarum, and Agrobacter tumefaciens, (procured from Microbial Type Culture Collection Centre, Institute of Microbial Technology, Chandigarh, India) wild type cultures which are not indigenous to test soil and having potential use in various genetic engineering applications, after introducing them into the soil (model) ecosystem.
He has published 80+ articles in peer-reviewed National and International journals and over 20+ conference proceedings, and has also delivered invited lectures in the National and International conferences. He has also authored some books like Personalized Cancer Medicine, Publishers: Globe Edit (Europe), ISBN: 978-613-9-4276-6 and Innate responses of chicken antibodies towards malarial antigens, Publishers: Globe Edit (Europe), ISBN: 978-613-9-42044-5. He is also Co-Editor and Author of the books like Popularization of Biotechnology by Eminent Scientists (Sponsored by Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Tech, Government of India, New Delhi). He has been awarded Best Coordinator in India by IARC, Centre for United Nations, Mumbai. He has also been awarded International Best Researcher Award by ISSN for 2021. His biographical note has been published in Biography India and Asia-Pacific Who is Who, 2021. He was a key note speaker and organizing committee member for 23rd European Biotechnology Congress, Switzerland, 2019. And also he was key note speaker for 25th European Biotechnology Conference, London 2020.”
