Dr. Amar Bahadur is working as Asstt. Professor in the Department of Plant Pathology, College of Agriculture, Tripura, Lembucherra, Agartala-799210. He did his M. Sc (Ag.) in Plant Pathology from the University of Allahabad (UP) and Ph.D. in Mycology and Plant Pathology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi (UP), India. He is Life Member of different professional society. Editorial board members and reviewer of National and International journals. Dr. Bahadur has published more than 30 research papers in International and National Journals and more than 20 of proceedings chapters and book chapters, popular articles, one book and three edited books. He has been Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator in DBT funded research project. He has participated in several seminar/symposia/conference national and international and presented research papers, visited Thailand. He was Zonal President of NEZ (North-Eastern Zone) in 2018 of Indian Phytopathological Society, IARI, New Delhi. Organizing Secretary and organized a National Symposium in 2019. He has engaged in research, teaching and extension activities more than 15 years. He has been awarded by different national and international societies as “Outstanding Scientist Award”, “Research Padma”, “Indian Teacher”, “Excellence in Teaching Award”, “Best Senior Scientist Award”, “InSc Research Excellence Award” and Fellow of the International College Nutrition (FICN), Fellow of Scholars Academic and Scientific Society (FSASS Society), Fellow of Indian Academic Researches Association (IARA).
