PRADEEP KUMAR KRISHNAN

“Dr.Pradeep Kumar Krishnan is a senior grade faculty, department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.
He is very much interested in research, teaching and learning. He has obtained a Ph.D. from one of the most reputable institutions (The National Institute of Technology, Durgapur (NIT-D), Durgapur, West Bengal, India, in 2019. He is an active researcher focusing on all areas relating to production process, characterization and mechanical behavior of engineering and engineered materials. He has been professionally engaged over 16 years in the field of Teaching & Research in various countries such as India, Malaysia, and Oman. He has received many awards such as Best Faculty Award 2020, Young Researcher Award 2021, Promising Scientist Award 2021, Award of Excellence in Research 2021, Best E-Lecture Award 2021, Life time achievement Award-2021, Global Young Scientist Award-2021, 100 Eminent Academicians of 2021, Elite Teacher Award of 2021 and Young Personality of the Year Award 2021. He is an active fellow member of I2OR, FSAS, and so on. He has been a life time member of Indian Welding Society (IWS) and also a certified Chartered Engineer (CEng) being issued by the Institute of Engineers, India (IEI).
He has published more than 10 research articles in various national & international journals with high Impact Factor and citations and participated more than 14 National and International Conferences, participated more than 70 Seminars/Webinars, participated more than 30 short term trainings and participated more than 31 staff development workshops around the globe. He has published two book chapters to Elsevier publications. He is Editorial Board member of Journal of “”Modern Mechanical Engineering and Technology (JMMET)”. He has coordinated over 100 industrial visits to undergraduate students between 2015 and 2020. In addition, over the period from 2008 to 2020 he has directly mentored, supervised and successfully graduated over 48 undergraduate and graduate students.”
