Dr.N.Varnakulendran is an academician belongs to field of SiddhaMedicine attached to Faculty of Applied sciences,Trincomalee campus,Eastern University,Srilanka for the last fourteen years. He has extensive exposure in the field of siddha pharmacology(Gunapadam). He involved in laboratory planning and development with strengthening of research in his institute. He has published twenty three research papers in reputed indexed journals and also published abstract and presented in research proceedings. Since he is a good orator he was invited as plenary speaker,invited as speaker and key note speaker in national and International conferences. He was founder and first Head of Unit of SiddhaMedicine , Trincomalee campus,Eastern University,Srilanka. He served as Rector of Trincomalee campus for three years while tremendous reforms and transformation occur during his tenure as Rector. Previously he worked as consultant Physician in Indigenous Medical Sector and also involved in several national development of Indigenous medical sector in the capacity of various committee member.
