Dr.R.Arumugam teaches Mathematics and Statistics subjects at the Periyar Maniammai institute of science and technology and is an Assistant Professor.
Qualifications:
Completed B.Sc, MSc and M.Phil in Statistics from Periyar E.V.R College, Tiruchirappalli, and Ph.D in Statistics from Dravidian University, Kuppam, AndhraPradesh, and has completed MSc in Mathematics from Alagappa University, Karaikudi (distance education mode) and has completed MBA in finance from Tamilnadu Open University, Chennai (distance education mode) and also has completed PGDCA from Annamalai University (distance education mode).
Experience:
He worked as a Lecturer in the department of Mathematics for a period of 4 years. Later he started his academic career in Periyar Maniammai institute of Science and Technology from 2008 and worked as Assistant Professor in the department of Mathematics. He has extensive academic and administrative experience covering the past 13 years.

He has published 41 research papers in national and international journals (UGC Care listed Journals and Scopus) and conference proceedings.

He has presented 18 research papers in national and international level seminar and conferences at various places.
