Dr. SARALA DEVI, Distinguished Scientist received her M.Phil. degree from Hyderabad Central University (HCU) Hyderabad , Ph.D.– Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (CSIR-IICT), Postdoctoral Research work at — Nagasaki University — JAPAN in the select area of Nanomaterials for NEMS application. She has taken up major and critical R & D projects with a view to develop indigenous process and product technologies relevant to Industries , DST/DAE. Till now guided ~ 40 Ph.D. , MS by research, M.Phil, M.Tech, M.Sc., M.Pharm students and degrees have been awarded. She has published 50 papers in reputed journals with high Impact Factor and technology development report to her credit . She has attended ~ 60 National/ International Conferences/ Workshops presented papers and invited talks. Expertise : Research includes both Basic and Applied Research in the field of Materials Science , Nanomaterials , Composites, Bio — Inspired Materials, Functional Nanomaterials with multifunctional properties tailored to suit applications in several areas of catalysis , NEMS & MEMS and Biological applications. Transfer of various technologies and process to Industry.
