Dr. Wang obtained his master’s degree in civil engineering from Tongji University in China in 2016. Later, he obtained his doctoral degree in civil engineering from University of Tokyo in Japan in 2019. He is currently a project assistant professor in University of Tokyo for Laboratory of Joint Program for next generation of energy infrastructure funded by J-POWER, Shimizu Corporation, Toshiba Energy Systems & Solutions Corporation, MHI Vestas Offshore Wind Japan, ClassNK. He has interests in Tall Building Engineering and Wind Turbine Engineering, acting on the following topics: optimal design of super-tall buildings, integrated design of offshore wind turbines and smart monitoring and maintenance of offshore wind farms.
