Having done her MD from the esteemed Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, she has an undying passion for ophthalmic patient care coupled with a scientific bent of mind and keen interest in ophthalmic research. She has numerous publications in indexed journals to her credit, and her latest work along with her mentors at Choithram Netralaya focusses on smartphone assisted screening of Diabetic Retinopathy, which is a growing public health concern worldwide.
