Dr. R. Arthi obtained her Ph.d in Information and Communication Engineering specializing in Wireless Sensor Networks from Anna University, Chennai, India during the year 2014. She completed her M.Tech in Digital Communication from BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore in 2001 and her M.B.A in Marketing research from Madurai Kamaraj University in 1997. She completed her B.E in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Periyar Maniammai college of Technology for Women, Thanjavur in 1994. She has 24 years 6 months of Teaching Experience including 4 years of Research experience. She has published more than 50 papers both in International Journals and Conference and has 3 International Innovation Patents to her credit. She is a Guest Editor for Special Issue in Computer Assisted Methods in Engineering and Science. She is a Reviewer for various International Journals and acted as a Program Committee member and session chair for many International conferences. She is a valuable Resource Person and has delivered various Guest Lectures for many Engineering Institutions. She has delivered Keynote Talks for various International Conferences across the countries (Hughes hall, Cambridge University, London and MAHSA University, Malaysia).Currently, she is guiding 4 Research Scholars to pursue their PhD. She is a Recipient of Academic Excellence Award- 2020 as Best Professor in ECE by Association of Management Professionals (AMP) Hyderabad powered by IDMBA and Recipient of Research Excellence Award 2021 in recognition for outstanding professional and research achievement in the field of ECE by Institute of Researchers, The Research Unit of ISPL, registered with Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India. She has Won Best Paper Award in the 2nd International Conference on Emerging Trends and Advances in Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energy(ETAEERE-2020) and Best Presentation / Best Content at the 2nd International Conference on Electronic System and Intelligent Computing(ESIC-2021) held at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. Currently, working as a Professor in Department of ECE, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram Campus, Chennai, India. Her areas of interest includes Wireless Communication, Medical Imaging, Wireless Sensor Networks, Green Computing, Mobile Computing, Quantum Computing, Network Security, IoT, Artificial Intelligence etc.,
